Lydia produces work for print and on-line resources, as well as private commissions and exhibitions in London and the eastern region.
She first travelled to South Africa in 1998 and has been living and working on the continent since then, exploring her interest in Africa and contemporary issues facing its people through photography, writing and audio.
She has been based back in the UK for the past 4 years and has been exploring questions around immigration, identity, culture within the contemporary UK context.

Lydia has worked on community arts projects for nearly ten years in Norfolk, London and various African countries.
She has experience of working with children, young people and adults fro different backgrounds, using photography, creative writing and audio work to learn new skills, empower and transform individuals and communities.
She has managed projects for the British Council, PhotoVoice and Creative Partnerships, as well as Local Authorities in the east of England.
She is available for work on similar projects as Project Manager or Facilitator or as a consultant for organisations planning their own projects.
